The Backyard CRUltra is a student-led, backyard ultra event, held on the campus of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) in Belton, Texas.  Runners will compete against time, 60 minutes, to complete a 4.167 mile loop.  Any time remaining of the hour can be utilized by the runner for recovery. At the top of every hour the race begins again.  Runners that have completed the previous loop within the hour timeframe will be eligible for the next race loop.  This format continues until only one runner completes the loop.  This endurance challenge makes backyard racing challenging, fun, and unique.  

     The Backyard CRUltra is limited to 100 participants.  Runners in the Backyard CRUltra have the opportunity to compete in this event as an individual or team.  Teams, which consists of 2 runners - one of the runners must be a current UMHB employee, student, or alumni - alternate running the loops.  If a runner from a team does not finish, the team is eliminated. 

     Family and friends are welcome to come and cheer on their runner.  Enjoy some family friendly games and entertainment.
